Marketing & Communications
As a professional in the marketing/communications field, my expertise in cohesive and approachable storytelling has been used to elevate internal communications structures and emphasize communities producing complex and life-changing research across STEM, medical, and industry fields.
From content production spanning profiles, features, and cumulative content, to social media and website leadership, take a look at some of the pieces I'm most proud of, which not only tell the impactful stories coming out of my places of work, but the incredible people who make it up.

What does each core facet of organoid research at BU look like, and how do they overlap? To see the convergent work produced across the two campuses, it is imperative to first understand what each core function of organoid research looks like, and the faculty who lead it.

Like many of the students before them, these REUs weren’t just hoping to experience new research methods and opportunities, but to expand on their existing knowledge and interests to become better scientists.
Oftentimes, undergraduate researchers are faced with a daunting question: should they jump straight into industry, or continue their higher education? For this year’s cohort, they were prepared to tackle the big questions, as well as the minutiae of research.

Under my supervision, student interns produce and promote this series which aims to uplift the previously underrepresented graduate student community.

Event Coverage & Promotion
View an example of the web presence of our events and event promotion, especially concerning annual symposia, which draw an average of 250 international guests each year.

Read a recap of another annual symposium, in which I strive to showcase audience and speakers alongside brief quotes from our hosts, following live event posts on social media.
During summer programming, I endeavor to promote weekly events on an as-needed basis, being sure to incorporate relevant information and tag collaborators.
Cumulative Content

Reporting to the Office of Research, the Photonics Center releases two annual reports each year: one for "official" review, and one for "glossy" or public view. Shared across the university and with sister institutions around the nation, this is the ultimate encapsulation of the Center's successes each fiscal year.
I produce both editions for the center each summer, collaborating with executive and collegial staff to secure content and polish for a cohesive tone and wording. In addition, I co-lead design efforts on the "glossy" edition, and handle printing/mailing efforts each year.

Comprising both Photonics Center and Neurophotonics Center accomplishments, the Brightside is a seasonal newsletter (fall/spring/summer editions) comprised of news features, grant acquisitions, publications, external PR campaigns, and new faculty appointments/promotions.
With an audience of over 1500 subscribers, it is one of our most lauded cumulative productions, and often incorporates convergent content across the university's campuses and other research centers, boosting engagement with our most impactful stories.
Similarly to Photonics Center annual reports, I am responsible for producing both "official" and "glossy" editions of the Neurophotonics Center annual report each summer.
Unlike the Photonics Center annual report, the "glossy" edition of the Neurophotonics report is entirely designed and produced by me. I similarly engage in printing/mailing efforts each year.
